Really good news. LinkedIn is going to introduce a freelancing service. Linked in is already a good platform for professionals. They're well educated and civilized people on LinkedIn.
This service is not launched yet. But they have given the option. How you can join or and can become part of this network.
Here are the steps that you can follow to join this service
Log in to your LinkedIn profile
Click on your view profile
Click on “Open to” there are two options
Hiring
Share that you’re hiring and attract qualified candidates
Providing services
Showcase services you offer so new clients can discover you.
If you are hiring you will choose the first option, if you are looking for the work, projects, task or job you will choose the second option as “Providing services”.
We go with “Providing Services” on linked in. there are 3 steps for this option.
Tell us about your services and work preferences
Get found in search results when people look for services
Let potential clients reach out to you for free
You need to click on the “Continue” button and add services (you can add 10 services) that you are offering ( e.g
Web site development, Asp.net website development, .net website development, API Development), choose location preference.
Tick the “Client Requests”
Allow LinkedIn members that you’re not connected with to message you for free Allow LinkedIn members that you’re not connected with to message you for free
This may update your Open Profile and In Mail settings.
And last and least thing is your visibility.
After entering all information, view preview and click on the “Publish” button. As your request is submitted you can click on “No Thanks” or click on “Start a Post”.
If you choose 2d option, the post will be created and shared on your profile link.
