Henry John Temple, 3rd Viscount Palmerston, KG, GCB, PC (20 October 1784 – 18 October 1865), known as Lord Palmerston from 1802 to 1851, was a British statesman who served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom four times between 1855 and 1865.
