Pixel 8 renders also emerge, show smaller footprint

As the release of Google's Pixel 7 smartphone approaches, renders of the rumored Pixel 8 have already emerged. The new renders reveal a smaller footprint than its predecessor, suggesting that the Pixel 8 will be even more compact and pocketable.

According to the renders, the Pixel 8 will feature a near-bezel-less display, with a hole-punch camera cutout at the top center of the screen. The device is expected to have a slightly smaller screen size than the Pixel 7, which has a 6.3-inch display.

The back of the Pixel 8 shows a dual-camera setup, arranged horizontally instead of vertically as seen in the Pixel 7. The fingerprint scanner is also located on the back of the device, which is consistent with previous Pixel models.

The renders show a USB-C port on the bottom of the phone, but it is not clear whether the Pixel 8 will feature a headphone jack or not.

It is important to note that these are just renders and the final design of the Pixel 8 may differ from what is shown. However, the leaked renders give us an idea of what to expect from Google's next flagship smartphone.

There is no official word yet from Google on when the Pixel 8 will be released or what its specifications will be. However, it is expected to be announced in late 2023 or early 2024, following the release of the Pixel 7.

As with any rumor or leak, it is always wise to take this information with a grain of salt until official confirmation is provided. Nonetheless, the Pixel 8 renders have certainly piqued the interest of smartphone enthusiasts, and we look forward to learning more about Google's upcoming flagship device in the coming months.
