Solution

Some servies of IIS are not enabled,  if you installed .net version those are enabled. so below are the steps to enable them.

 

 

  • Heres what worked for me, had a similar problem on my new laptop which had windows 10.
  • Search for "Turn windows features on or off"
  • Check "Internet Information Services"
  • Check "World Wide Web Services"
  • Check "Application Development Features"
  • Enable all items under this
  • try again, now it should work.
