The Eid ul Adha holidays in Pakistan in 2023 are as follows:

  • Day of Arafah: Wednesday, June 28, 2023
  • Eid ul Adha: Thursday, June 29, 2023
  • Eid ul Adha Day 2: Friday, June 30, 2023
  • Eid ul Adha Day 3: Saturday, July 1, 2023

The holidays will be for a total of four days, from Wednesday, June 28 to Saturday, July 1. This is for offices that observe a five-day workweek. For offices that observe a six-day workweek, the holidays will be from Wednesday, June 28 to Sunday, July 2.

The dates of Eid ul Adha are based on the sighting of the moon, so they are subject to change. However, the government of Pakistan has already announced the holidays, so you can be sure that they will be observed on these dates.

Eid ul Adha is one of the most important religious festivals in Islam. It commemorates the sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) and his son Ismail (Ishmael). On this day, Muslims around the world sacrifice an animal, such as a sheep, goat, or cow, and distribute the meat to family, friends, and the poor. Eid ul Adha is a time for celebration, feasting, and spending time with loved ones.
