Instructions for Creating a Windows User to Access the Server Remotely:

Log in to the server.

Create a new Windows user:
a. Right-click on the Windows® icon and select System.
b. Depending on your Windows version:
- For 2012 R2: Click on Remote Settings.
- For 2016: Navigate to Remote Desktop > Select users that can remotely access this PC.
c. Click on Select Users.
d. Click Add.
e. Enter the desired username.
f. Click Check Names.
Note: The correct entry for the domain user will be underlined.
g. After adding the user, click Apply and OK
