Microsoft defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting error
Problem:
when I tried to run any application or any utitlity I am getting below error
"Microsoft defender smartscreen provented an unrecognized app from starting error"
Solution: below are stepts to run this file.
Right click on the file or "*.exe"
General tab > Inside the Security tab 'Uncheck the' "Unblock"
Bypass Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting
a) Right-click on the file.
b) Select Properties.
c) Make sure you are in the General tab.
d) Press the Unblock button.
e) Click Apply/OK and exit.
The file will be unblocked, just click and open it.
